About Me
When I was growing up, I always had a passion for solving challenging technical problems. As I got older, I was interested in how a company could take a technical problem, create a solution, and scale this from an idea to a multi-million dollar business. It was these interests which led me towards studying both Engineering and Commerce in university.
During my studies, I joined the Formula Student team where I joined a team of passionate colleagues in designing and building our first electric race car. It was here that I gained my first insight into the exciting future of electric vehicles -which at the time were barely considered a viable commercial product. Upon graduating from university, I served with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as an Electronics Engineering Officer for 3.5 years. During this time, I predominantly worked with the C-130J Hercules aircraft building my experience in engineering (designing aircraft systems) and business (managing a multi-million dollar contract). The best part of this job was knowing the work I did, both in design and business management, would provide critical support to people in Australia and overseas. In 2021, I made the switch from the aerospace field to automotive tech, moving to Tesla HQ in Silicon Valley as a Software Integration Engineer. I continue to live and work in California where I help accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. |
